Your Opportunity

This position is instrumental in driving positive outcomes for clients in the wellbeing space. Managing teams, programs and services across multiple service offerings including in community psycho-social, drug and alcohol (non-clinical) and health access and equity support services you will be responsible for ensuring services meet policy, contractual and legislative standards. This role reports to an Area Manager and has a strong focus on service impact, strategic partnerships and stakeholder relationships; business development and service administration.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead the local team in the delivery of program requirements and be responsible for quality framework, program targets, compliance and KPIs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and contribute towards MA Projects, programs or activities by providing specialist advice, support and assistance
  • Demonstrate leadership of the team and be responsible for staff training, performance management, recruitment and ensure the operations of the service compliant with the Enterprise Agreement/Award
  • Develop and deliver accurate reports on the service to the Area Manager and assist with or prepare budgets as required

Requirements for Success

  • Demonstrated experience in leading a team in a complex service delivery setting
  • Relevant degree with substantial experience in over-sighting community based mental health and other social service support programs
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret program data to support impact measurement
  • Experience in people leadership and financial management
  • Strong leadership, communication, client advocacy and team collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
