The Iceman Group of Companies is an Australian wide business that provides repairs, servicing and breakdown coverage for the Refrigerated and Trailer Transport Industry. We have a wide range of customers that rely on Iceman Group to quote and repair their fleet. Working with a nation-wide subcontracting breakdown network, Iceman Group can provide 24/7 emergency breakdown services to our clients.

Our Brisbane workshops have three divisions, Trailer Body Repairs, Mechanical Repairs and Refrigeration. A new purpose built workshop should be opened 4th quarter 2025, which will have all divisions under one roof. We are seeking a full-time Workshop Coordinator to manage the daily operations of the entire workshop.

About the Role:

Reporting directly to the Iceman Group Brisbane Manager, you will be responsible for the coordinating workshop operations. Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

• Managing the daily coordinating between the three divisions of the Brisbane workshops
• Work with the three division managers to ensure the work flow between the divisions has minimal downtime
• Liaising with our customers on a daily basis to accommodate for any repairs and maintenance, both onsite and with the mobile technicians
• Assist workshop divisional managers to prepare quotes for customers when required
• Ensure the jobcards from each division where necessary are presented to admin for invoicing

About You:

You will have a strong transport background with the ability to oversee a medium sized growing workforce within a fast-paced environment.

In addition to this, you will possess and display the following:

• Strong communication to ensure that clear instructions are delivered to the teams in regards to service requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to problem-solve when an issue or scheduling clash may occur.
• Strategic focus on improving the efficiency and planning within the business.
• Ability to delivery outstanding customer service
• Knowledge in WHS, HR and IR
• Intermediate computer skills
