MEGT is excited to recruit on behalf of our client, a Government Business Enterprise, offering a fantastic career development opportunity for a proactive individual. This 18-24 month traineeship provides hands-on experience in an IT Assets team, where you'll gain valuable administration and project management skills in a supportive and professional environment.
As a trainee, you'll play a key role in managing administrative tasks within the IT Assets team, including stock management, purchasing, quoting, and maintaining user devices. While no technical background is required, this role is ideal for someone with an interest in technology who wants to explore different career pathways within the industry. With great opportunities for progression, this traineeship is a stepping stone to a rewarding future.
Duties:
- Quoting, purchasing, and stock management
- Maintaining user devices and ordering Telco services
- Investigating and auditing software
- Managing small projects within the team
- Updating records, documentation, and customer service
Are you:
- Confidence to work independently and problem-solve
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- An interest in technology (but no technical background required)
- Committed to a program lasting up to 18-24 months?
- Must be eligible for a Working With Children Check and able to pass a Police Check.
