The Role:

As the IT Helpdesk Trainee you will assist in providing technical support and assistance to end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, oversee hardware refreshes, manage user accounts and ensure the smooth operations of IT systems.

Throughout this 24-month, fulltime opportunity you will gain hands-on experience, paid training and continuous mentoring towards gaining a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Information Technology.

Duties Include:

  • Handle incoming IT related enquiries and requests from staff
  • Provide tech support and troubleshooting
  • Perform basic repairs and maintenance to IT equipment
  • Liaise with vendors to escalate issues and maintenance
  • Gather reports on ticketing and system issues
  • Work with a mixture of Microsoft, Google, Android, and Apple technologies

About You:

  • Enthusiasm for all things IT related
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • High attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Displays initiative and a hardworking attitude
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and juggle various deadlines

Role Requirements:

  • Cannot have completed a Certificate IV in IT or higher (e.g. Bachelor or Masters)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of applications and operating systems (desirable)
  • Hold a National Police Check (or willing to obtain)
  • Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (preferable)
  • Customer service experience (desirable)
