About the role
WDHS is seeking a NDIS / Intake Coordinator to join the team at Primary & Preventative Health on a fixed term basis. This role is focused on coordinating the intake process for NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) participants ensuring that referrals are processed smoothly and that service agreements are established for clients to access the services offered by Western District Health Service (WDHS).
This position involves coordinating and administering the day-to-day management of the NDIS intake process to facilitate a streamlined point of entry for all referral programs, including but not limited to the following:
- Processing all new customer referrals
- Wait list management
- Data entry and reporting
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide high quality and responsive intake services.
The successful applicant will have strong administration skills, high level computer literacy and attention to detail. Previous experience with Intake services or a background in health administration is an advantage but not essential.

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police/NDIS Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements. At WDHS we are proud to be smoke free.
