As the Working Foreman/Site Supervisor, you will take responsibility for overseeing on-site activities from the initial setup to the completion of commercial and industrial projects across Perth WA. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, you will interface with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Your role will be vital in ensuring effective cost control, efficient site operations, and the successful safe delivery of projects. Completing assigned projects in compliance with Australian Standards, company objectives, and all contractual documentation.
- Oversee and manage all on-site activities, including subcontractors and labourers, ensuring compliance with Western Australian building codes and standards.
- Ensure the project progresses according to schedule, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines, particularly in the context of WA's unique weather and environmental conditions.
- Providing the Project Manger with feedback for Weekly Look Ahead’s.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and project execution.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager & Project Coordinator in relation to materials, deliveries, and resources to maintain project momentum, particularly in challenging WA environments.
- Participate in hands-on construction activities as required, leading by example.
You will be liaising daily with stake holders and construction team to provide a first-class service to clients. Ensuring effective on-site cost control and efficient running of the project and or works.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to supervise multiple projects and conflicting priorities.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, schedules, and specifications relevant to WA projects.
- Advanced time management and organizational skills, with a focus on effective cost control and resource management.
- Hands-on experience in various construction trades, with a thorough understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, and permit requirements.
- Highly organised and able to work well under pressure
- Be able to develop, implement and manage new initiatives, systems and procedures to improve operational performance.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be approachable and confident in dealing with a variety of people.
- Ability to handle with multiple projects simultaneously with conflicting priorities.
- Thorough understanding the construction process, critical inspection points, permit and WHS requirements.
- Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards and State legislation.
- Interpersonal skills to with an ability to deal with both internal and external customers building long term relationships
- Able to develop business through quality service delivery
- Being part of a team environment and contributing equally.
- Be able to promote and develop a positive safety culture across the business.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 Years in a role or similar.
- Experience in projects over $5m highly Regarded
- Be part of creating a positive, successful and energetic work environment.
- Flexible with your availability and be open to doing overtime where necessary.
- Hold a current C Class drivers Licence.
- Be eligibility and right to work within Australia.
- Construction Safety Awareness (White) Card First Aid
- National Police Clearance
- You will be able to provide 2 current contactable work references from the last 6 months of your employment.
