The Company

Founded over a decade ago by the Director, the business delivers high quality Homes with an impeccable level of craftsmanship. With countless successful projects delivered, they are a reliable, easy to work with team with a strong network of repeat trades, suppliers and referral clients across the Gold Coast. With a confirmed pipeline of work and more opportunities being presented to the company, we are looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to manage custom design, luxury homes and manage the day-to-day site activities.

The Role

• Oversee daily site operations and supervision of all trades on site
• Work autonomously to deliver the build using your experience, knowledge and skillset
• Arrange and coordinate deliveries in an efficient time effective manner, ensuring materials are allocated and available to utilise
• Maximise efficiency and speed throughout the build with a highly organised, proactive approach to minimise delays
• Lead site meetings and monitor progress in collaboration with trades
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
• Be proactive with sequencing and scheduling, to ensure work is completed as efficient and time effective as possible and give the trades a clear run to deliver their work
• Identify and overcome potential issues on site with a proactive approach
• Manage quality of work and ensure works completed are up the required standard
• Communicate consistently with all site personnel & management to ensure a clear focus on the task at hand
• Provide reports and updates to the Director as and when requested

The Person

• Long tenure within the Construction industry, building high-end homes
• A qualified carpenter with extensive knowledge of building and construction methodology
• Exposure to working on tight sites
• Will suit a builder with previous experience building similar value homes with autonomy
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and schedules
• A hands-on leader with strong problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in construction planning, programming and sequencing
• A proactive mindset, always looking for smarter and more efficient ways to build
• Communication – keep everyone in line with your expectations and the works at hand
• Build a positive, engaging environment on site where trades enjoy coming to work
• An eye for detail and a quality finish

The Package

• $60ph + Super (paid for every hour you work via a weekly timesheet)
• PAYG or ABN options available

• Monday – Friday, typically 6:30am – 3pm
