Bright Horizons Australia Childcare Elsternwick is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator with a commitment to providing excellence in care. The successful applicant will possess a passion for high quality care and education and preferably be available Monday to Friday. The hours on offer are up to 37.5 hours per week.
The service operates 6:30am-6:30pm and is licensed for 50 places and provides care for children from 6 weeks to school age.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Nurturing, educating and caring for children 6 weeks to school age
- Planning and implementing exciting and stimulating activities and learning opportunities for the children
- Daily communication with parents and other team members
- Documenting children's daily records/observations
- Working in a fun, welcoming team environment
- Getting out and interacting with the local community as a part of our Out and About excursion program

What Will You Need To Have?
The successful applicant must have:
- Qualification for Early Childhood (or working towards)
- A passion for providing high-quality, early childhood care and education
- Enthusiasm and drive to succeed in providing interesting and inviting learning spaces
- Current Working With Children's Check
- Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Motivation, initiative, reliability and willingness to be a valued team player
- An enthusiastic approach to working with children, families and the team of Educators at the service.
