Wakeford Marine Services, a family-owned business, operates from two vibrant marinas. What you'll be doing

• Carry out regular maintenance and servicing, along with repowering, to ensure optimal performance of vessels.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues and identify potential problems before they arise.
• Source out and order parts on jobs.
• Document all job activities in detail.
• Provide exceptional customer service by completing tasks in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the wider team to ensure the efficient operation of the workshop.

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Marine Mechanic in the industry
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of marine engine systems and vessel maintenance procedures
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
• Have own tools
• Certification in marine mechanics or a related field
• Interact politely, friendly and professionally with customers and team members
• A strong commitment to safety and a willingness to adhere to all relevant regulations and industry best practices
