Who are we looking for?

An innovative and motivated Head Chef with a focus on food safety and excellent customer service. To be successful, you’ll need:

  • Certificate III or IV Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification)
  • Food Safety Supervisor Certificate within 5yrs of validity
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate (preferred however not essential)
  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Previous experience in mass-catering environments is essential (volume cooking)
  • Previous FIFO Sous Chef or Head Chef experience is highly desired but not essential
  • Excellent knowledge of HACCP
  • Prior Sous or Head Chef experience is essential
  • Australian Citizenship or full working rights in Australia
  • You will be required to obtain a National Police Check, should you not have one dated within the last 3 months

About the role;

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Provide leadership, coordinate, and support staff in maintaining a high-quality catering services for our FIFO client sites
  • You will achieve success by consulting with stakeholders on a regular basis while driving a high level of performance within your Team
  • Lead the catering function with safety at the forefront by adhering to HACCP and operational safety procedures, creating a strong safety culture within your team is fundamental to your success
