The Group:

Successful pub group which continues to expand across the country. Their venues are known for being well managed and maintained and their food is celebrated as being accessible, family friendly but done really well. The company has a great structure with all of the stock control programs, rostering systems and supplier agreements in place which will allow you time to focus on perfecting the offer, mentoring and training your teams and further establishing the knowledge that the venues serve some of the best and most accessible pub grub in Newcastle/ Hunter.

The Role:

As group executive chef, you will oversee all of the pub group's kitchens and staff. With full teams in each venue and head chef direct reports, you will maintain strong standards in food quality, COGs, wastage control and staff morale and training. You will work alongside the area's Group Operations Manager and together you will take these award winning venues to new heights.

You:

• At least 2 years in a group role with experience managing large teams and multi faceted businesses.
• A good understanding of BOH financials - be able to manage quality menus and offerings with the bottom line in mind.
• A mentoring and motivational management style. Lead from the front, support and enthuse your team to create memorable guest experience through awesome food quality and menus.
• A want to establish your career in Newcastle/ Hunter for the long term - this is a CAREER role and something that you can really sink your teeth into
• A good understanding of PUB food trends - this is not fine dining - your menus must appeal to your local area customer base.
• A REAL love for your trade and an ability to transfer your enthusiasm for all things food to your team.
