About the role
Join Coogee Plaza Dental as a part-time Dental Assistant (3 days per week) and be part of a team dedicated exceptional patient care. In this essential role, you’ll support our experienced dentists, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every patient who visits our practice.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting dentists during procedures by passing instruments, preparing materials, and maintaining a clean, organized treatment area.
• Greeting and welcoming patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and at ease.
• Performing basic administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing inquiries.
• Supporting the practice with administrative duties, such as maintaining and restocking dental and office supplies.
• Sterilizing and maintaining dental instruments and equipment in line with strict infection control protocols.
• Enhancing the patient experience through excellent communication and a caring, compassionate approach.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 12 months previous Dental Assistant experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in using dental software and technology
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting preferable
• Full Australian Working Rights
