About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to play a key supporting role in the management of venue operations across multiple performance spaces.

Reporting directly to the Venue Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as Manager on Duty, overseeing the venue as required
• Maintaining and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Ensuring compliance with WHS policies and all relevant legislation
• Supporting staff recruitment, training, and day-to-day leadership
• Providing insights on sales, labor costs, and operational improvements
• Managing venue costs, procurement, and pricing in line with budget targets
• Participating in service during peak hours and contributing to venue operations
• Assisting in overseeing bar operations and ensuring seamless guest experiences

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Knowledge of bar and restaurant operations
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Strong background in leadership/venue management
• Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in cost management and beverage procurement
• A passion for hospitality and creating outstanding guest experiences
• A valid RSA and an Approved Manager’s Card (or willingness to obtain)
• Must be regularly available for shifts Wed-Sun, 2pm – 1am (3am on Fri/Sat)
