Altus Traffic currently has an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and diligent AR Officer based in Gregory Hills. Join a fast paced, dynamic environment with the business enjoying tremendous growth, both organically and through acquisition. This role requires someone who can multi-task and co-ordinate with various departments and clients to collate the information to produce invoices and payment claims to meet contract requirements.

As a key part of the Finance team, applicants must be able to demonstrate high attention-to-detail and be diligent in following up relevant parties do ensure deadlines are met.

Key Duties

  • Managing parts of accounts receivable – reconciliations, data entry and maintenance of accounts receivable information into accounting software
  • Managing Daily and Weekly Invoicing
  • Managing the Payment Claim Process for the selected Customers.
  • Monitoring client account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Responding to client queries and maintaining strong relationships
  • Dispute resolution
  • Ensuring payments are made on time as per trading terms.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist with other financial administration duties when required.
  • Any other duties directed by the CM - Finance or CFO
  • Troubleshooting issues to solve customer problems
  • Identifying process and system improvements and supporting the delivery of solutions for customers
  • Establishing relationships outside of finance to deliver support to senior decision makers
  • Work actively in the team to enhance team performance
  • Monitor and ensure that quality standards are met
  • Identifying problems and improvements in processes and procedures
  • Recording and acting to problem solve and make improvements, and informing others as required

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in accounts receivable and debt collection functions
  • Previous Experience with Customised Billing, Payment Claims or RCTIs
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written) including liaising and consulting with internal and external customers
  • Previous experience in similar position/industry will be viewed favourably
  • Strong computer literacy, MS Office programs and accounts payable systems
  • Experience crystal Reporting, Reporting Applications, Operational and General Ledger system/s
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer service focus
