We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our team based in SYD/MEL . As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and completeness of financial records, ensuring that the company’s accounts comply with Australian accounting standards and tax regulations. You will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, tax filings, and cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including invoicing, payments, and revenue recording

· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

· Prepare financial analysis report on a month basis

· Assist in the development of company budgets and financial forecasts

· Handle tax filings and related compliance matters

· Perform financial audits and assist with external audit processes

· Ensure all financial records comply with Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) ,IFRS and tax requirements

· Collaborate with management to provide financial analysis support and decision-making advice

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA qualification preferred)

· At least 1 year of accounting experience, with experience in Australian businesses or accounting firms preferred

· Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)

· Hold as least 1 year working visa in Australia, mandarin is a plus

· Strong understanding of Australian taxation law, company law, and accounting standards

· Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

· Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

· Good problem-solving and financial analysis skills

· Experience with multinational companies or in diverse industries is a plus
