Health Generation, a leading Aged Care Consultancy, is seeking a dedicated Learning and Development Consultant (LDC) to deliver high-quality education, mentoring, and training solutions for aged care professionals.

Health Generation is an Aged Care Consultancy company established for over 6 years. We act as a primary support mechanism for residential Aged Care organisations nationally offering tailored services to help solve their toughest challenges.
About the Role
As a Learning and Development Consultant (LDC), you will play a key role in delivering evidence-based training, mentoring clinical professionals, and driving workforce excellence. You will develop and facilitate education programs, clinical audits, and onboarding initiatives to support Health Generation’s workforce and clients.
Learning and Development programs are delivered virtually via TEAMS, but occasional travel nationally for the purpose of providing training onsite may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Education and Training: Develop and deliver tailored training for HealthGen staff and clients, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. Maintain an educational resource library and offer on-site/remote sessions.
Clinical Mentoring: Guide HealthGen Clinical Consultants and NurseGen Registered Nurses, participate in clinical meetings, and provide support during placements. Provide clinical mentoring to the aged care industry.
Clinical Reviews and Service Development: Support the clinical and operations teams with post-audit reviews, prepare reports with recommendations, and collaborate to enhance services. Promote Health Generation’s work on LinkedIn.
New Education Services Development: Design and implement new training services, evaluate their effectiveness, and train consultants on using new tools.
Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate onboarding for new consultants and develop streamlined onboarding documentation and processes.
Learning Academy Contribution: Assist in developing a Learning Academy, delivering mentoring and educational content, and offering certificates of attendance.
About You
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) registration in Australia
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in aged care or acute care settings
- Proven expertise in clinical education, mentoring, and training
- Strong ability to develop and deliver evidence-based educational resources
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficient in the current aged care quality standards
- Experience conducting clinical audits and preparing actionable reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and remote work technologies
- Proficient in the delivery of virtual training courses using TEAMS.
- You hold a full, open and current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a vehicle for engagements that are local or in reasonable driving distance
- You hold a current valid and current Australian National Police Check and a NDIS Workers Screening or a willingness to obtain both
- You have an up-to-date immunisation record
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with AN-ACC, NQIP, and the strengthened quality standards
- Experience designing innovative education programs
- Knowledge of AI tools like ChatGPT to enhance training delivery
- Strong LinkedIn presence and ability to contribute to industry discussions
