About the Position
Working within our Community Learning and Libraries Team, the Community Services Librarian is responsible for assisting with the coordination of library operations to ensure delivery of an innovative library service, to meet community needs. Working within their allocated portfolio, the Community Services Librarian will work with the team to achieve a range of operational outcomes.
To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- Excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
- Previous supervisory experience coupled with the initiative and ability to work in a team environment.
- High level of, and commitment to customer service.
- Previous experience working in a public library environment, well-developed reference and information seeking skills and experience coordinating library services and programs.
