The Agency

Our Federal Government Agency enhances our agricultural industries and trade, and manage the threat of biosecurity risks to Australia.

Responsibilities

• Work with business and technical teams to understand monitoring needs and service level expectations.
• Perform detailed analysis of monitoring data to improve alerting and reporting solutions.
• Identify gaps in system monitoring and logging, proposing solutions for improvement.
• Document stakeholder requirements and translate them into key performance indicators (KPIs) for monitoring tools like Splunk ITSI.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Experience with software development principles in DevOps environments (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall).
• Experience working with log analytics tools, such as Splunk, ITSI, Elastic and Azure Log Analytics, SCOM, AppDynamics,
