About the role and what we are looking for

This role is a Part time contract 16-24hour contract available. Immediate start for the right candidates

We are seeking multiple professional, passionate, and enthusiastic females who share our values and commitment to join our team.

We are looking for experienced support workers, to build a team for a female client within the Maitland area. We are looking for a team player, who is able to deliver tailored support.

Experience and willingness is a must to support a client with high complex physical needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with client.

Staff who have flexibility and availability are essential in this role, with the ability to work a variety of shifts being morning, day, afternoon, evening, overnight night/sleepovers and weekends. (Flexible rosters to accommodate work life balance).

• Assistance with personal care
• Help clients with mobility and transportation needs
• Assist with domestic duties
• Assistance with the preparation of meals
• Assist with medication and monitor health condition
• Provide quality support and meet the needs of the client in line with their goals
• Ability to provide a person-centered approach that empowers the client's choice and independence
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best possible care for clients

Essential requirements:

• Minimum nationally accredited completion of Certificate III and above in relevant Disability or Community Service field
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and Employee Working with Children Check
• A valid Australian driver’s license with a reliable and comprehensively insured car
• A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Experience in complex physical needs and the use of hoist and stand-up lifters.
