Our client is looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on support to the wider team and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. In this role, you’ll be a key player in delivering high-quality tech support, from troubleshooting day-to-day issues to maintaining the systems that power the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical support to staff, assisting with hardware, software, and network issues;
- Resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally, ensuring minimal disruption to workflows;
- Assist with setting up and maintaining IT systems, including laptops, desktops, and other office technology;
- Support new employee onboarding by setting up devices and ensuring smooth access to our systems and tools;
- Collaborate with team members and vendors to resolve complex technical problems; and
- Monitor system health, security, and performance to ensure optimal operation.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in IT support or a helpdesk role, 3-4 years;
- Solid understanding of common IT systems, hardware, and software (Windows, Mac OS, Microsoft 365, etc.);
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address issues promptly and effectively;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical team members; and
- A proactive, team-focused attitude and the ability to work independently when needed.
