This role is primarily based at PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport, which is conveniently located adjacent to Melbourne Airport. Featuring 276 guest accommodation rooms, newly refurbished 16 Meeting & Events Conference rooms and the Airo Restaurant & Bar, PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport is the perfect landing place.

PARKROYAL Melbourne Airport is looking to appoint an experienced and passionate chef to join our team.

The Role:

• Prepare, create and present à la carte menu items for the Airo Restaurant & Bar, In Room Dining and Functions
• Produce options that cater for a range of food allergies and dietary requirements
• Ensure all operating supplies and food products are sufficiently stocked for the smooth operation of the kitchen
• Maintain a hygienic and clean work environment
• Promote a fun, professional and dedicated work environment

You must be able to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends.

Ideally you will have:

• A passion for the hospitality industry and food
• Completed a Certificate III Commercial Cookery or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Chef within an A La Carte hotel restaurant environment
• A positive, team orientated approach with a passion for genuine hospitality
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and an eye for detail
