The Organisation:

Menzies Support Services have been providing NDIS and Aged Care community supports for over 50 years in the Murrindindi region and is committed to providing individualised, person-centered supports and care via individual and group supports. The Roles:

We are seeking a suitable candidates to fill part time and casual positions within our NDIS team. We currently have participants requiring individual support in Healesville, Marysville and Alexandra, and group supports based in Alexandra, Victoria. Supports include group facilitation, 1:1, in home supports, in home respite, domestic assistance and general support.

Potential candidates will have a passion and interest in the arts, woodworking - refurbishment, leisure and health, music and movement, gardening and propagation and have a creative mind with the ability to think outside the box and of turning dreams into reality.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Highly developed interpersonal skills and experience communicating with all stakeholders
• Skills to collaborate, be client focused and have a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work autonomously, under limited direction however collaboratively and within a diverse team environment when required
• The ability to be adaptable to changing environments
• Experience working within the Disability sector
• Qualifications in Disability, Community Services or equivalent.
• Demonstrated skills with technology and experience with Client Management Systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• A commitment to compliance and continuous improvement

Menzies operate a stringent safety screening process for preferred candidates that will require two satisfactory current professional references, an identity check, qualification check, satisfactory national and international (where required) criminal history and VEVO checks along with full Working rights in Australia -no restrictions.

Requirements:

Successful applicants will be required to complete training in Infection, Prevention control, NDIS Worker Orientation module, Disaster and Emergency Management and NDIS Safe and Enjoyable Meals as part of the onboarding process or provide evidence of completing the training previously.

Applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, the following credentials:

• NDIS Clearance (NDIS Worker Screening Check)
• Evidence of qualifications
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Driver’s licence and own reliable car

• International Police Check where required and VEVO check

Successful candidates will have access to NFP salary packaging up to $15,900 for living expenses and additional $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses each year tax free and access to Menzies Employee Assistance Program.
