The Health Information Services at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Data Quality Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
To provide administrative and systems support ensuring the accurate recording and storage of confidential patient medical records within a hospital setting. Ensuring the presence of required medical records and information internally and externally are available within the digital patient record required for patient care.
About the Team
- Health Information Services (HIS) provides specialist services that embrace the overall commitment to the management and provision of quality patient information to the Mackay Hospital and Health Service.
- The service is comprised of the following key areas: Health Information Management, Clinical Coding, Data Quality, Information Access, Scanning Unit, Medical Typing, Corporate Records, Mail Room and the Switchboard.

The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
