In this key role, you’ll manage a variety of contracts, ensure compliance with terms and conditions, and streamline processes to optimize efficiency. Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our dynamic team in Cranbourne, Victoria. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant experience and a Diploma or higher qualification in business or management studies or related field. This role involves developing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, resolving inquiries and issues, managing contract paperwork, and ensuring that our organisational goals are met.
Responsibilities:
- Create, evaluate, and amend contracts and service agreements.
- Answer inquiries and solve problems related to contracts and services.
- Oversee documentation for contracts and services provided.
- Partner with owners and stakeholders to fulfil organisational goals.
- Counsel senior management on critical issues and carry out their decisions.
- Monitor contractors' work and document changes to work orders.
- Draft and review reports and submissions about the organisation’s activities.
- Collect and interpret project data and report on outcomes.
- Draft, interpret, maintain, evaluate, and amend contracts on behalf of the organisation.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or higher qualification in business or management studies.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a contract administrator or similar positions.
Requirements:
- Contract Management: Understanding the intricacies of contract law, terms, and conditions, and the ability to manage and interpret contracts effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all aspects of contracts are accurately documented and any discrepancies are identified and resolved.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors and clients.
- Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate terms and conditions to achieve favourable outcomes for the company.
- Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and ensure timely execution.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse contract terms and conditions and assess their impact on the business.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify potential issues in contracts and find effective solutions.
- Time Management: Efficiently managing time to meet deadlines and handle the workload effectively.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with contract management software and tools, as well as general office software like Microsoft Office Suite.
- Legal Knowledge: Understanding of legal terminology and concepts related to contracts.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with various departments such as legal, finance, and operations.
- Adaptability: Being flexible and adaptable to handle changes in contracts and business needs.
Position Details:
- Location: Cranbourne, Victoria
- Type: Full-Time (38 hours/week)
- Salary: $74,000 - $8,0000 + Superannuation
