As an Applications & Platform Support Analyst, you will be working on-site with our customer and as part of a team of 6, be the first point of contact for their business apps & system users in seeking assistance with Linux and Oracle DB system operations, and their Java applications. You will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and help business users resolve technical problems efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Already possessing demonstrable Linux / Oracle / Java apps support and operations experience in a similar Application and Platform Support role, this role will push you to utilise your existing technical skills and apply them to troubleshoot, resolve issues and provide exceptional customer service to our business users.

Where: Glen Waverley with occasional travel to our CBD office
Style: Hybrid; 3-4 days a week in the office
Salary: up to $160K pkg (inc super)

Specific experience must include:

• Extensive technical experience in applications/operational systems support
• Applications support in a Linux/Oracle DB/Java environment

Responsibilities include & not limited to:

• Serve as the key technical contact
• Provide support services for our applications and platforms, including day-to-day operations, maintenance, project build/support, troubleshooting, capacity management, systems integration, disaster recovery and business continuity processes
• Document, track, and manage inquiries and issues using our ticketing system
• Collaborate with internal, development and QA teams to escalate unresolved or complex issues and provide feedback on recurring problems
• Create and update knowledge base articles and user guides to empower clients with self-help resources
• Stay up to date with software/hardware updates, new features, and industry best practices to provide knowledgeable and accurate support.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with a focus on improving customer satisfaction
• Participate in regular training and professional development to enhance technical and product knowledge
• Assist and manage technical problems/incidents
