Techforce Personnel are a national recruitment agency and project management firm specialising in blue & white collar recruitment across mining and resources, shutdowns, facilities maintenance, industrial services, civil construction and the oil and gas industries.

We currently have an opportunity for a HSE Advisor to join our client based in North Perth working a Monday-Friday week with ad hoc site travel (approx 6-8 times per year)

You will be responsible for providing support to corporate and project teams in the delivery of work activities safely and to ensure health, safety & environmental management system compliance and support the development of industry best practice health, safety & environmental initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide the ongoing support and improvement of health & safety related matters
• Ensure full and accurate health and safety records are being maintained as per compliance requirements
• Support line management in their accountability for legislative obligations and WHS Management System compliance requirements.
• Facilitate and/or participate in work area incident investigations, risk assessments and management of change processes.
• Communicate HSE requirements to project/corporate teams
• Monitor the implementation of operational safety, health and environmental policies and programs
• Ensure effective communication of HSE information across the site
• Ensure KPI's are tracked and managed accordingly

About You

• Cert IV OH&S (minimum)
• White Card
• 4 years' minimum experience as a HSE Advisor in multiple industries (Mining, Construction, Oil & Gas)
• Safety System management experience
• ISO experience
• S26 (desirable)
• MSIC (desirable)
• Hammertech experience (desirable)
• Incident investigation experience (eg ICAM, Taproot)
• Ability to travel to site as and when required
