Our client is a fast growing design & construct builder with several projects underway in Brisbane, with even more projects in the design phase ready to drop this year. They've built everything from industrial to retail, with a current focus on large scale townhouse, apartment & retirement living projects. Over the past few years they've grown at a reasonable rate, both in terms of business structure, systems & processes, as well as headcount. The number and dollar value of their construction projects is also continuing to grow steadily. I have worked closely with this company for many years now, placing junior to senior/executive level candidates. Your New Role
Due to several new projects starting early this year, our client has the capacity to bring on at least 1 x Cadet/Junior CA, as well as 2 x Senior CA's. As a Junior, you will have the chance to work with and learn from one of their best Senior CA's, who upper management praises as a great leader, trainer, and mentor for those cutting their teeth in the CA career. For the senior positions, typical D&C CA duties would be the day-to-day, working closely with the PM and the Site Management team, reporting into their Commercial Manager. Current projects are spread across Brisbane - Northside, Southside & Ipswich. Also to note, the client has a current project that would suit a SCA/PM if you are ready to take that next step into Project Management and run your own project.

What You'll Need To Succeed

As a Junior

• Construction Management Degree (Bachelors, Masters, Diploma)
• Be eager to learn from excellent mentors and get stuck in from day one
• Work experience with a contractor beneficial (work experience during uni, or 1-2 years post-grad in a similar field. QS/Estimating/CA on the build side.
• Procore/Jobpac experience also a bonus.

As an Intermediate/Senior

• 2-5+ experience working for a head contractor (preferably D&C), on projects $10m +
• Ability to be autonomous and navigate daily project and contractual tasks and issues to deliver on commercial outcomes - be capable to run a project as the lead CA.
• Mentoring/training mindset is beneficial, as the company values growing staff within their business very highly.
• Procore/Jobpac experience very beneficial for more experienced candidates.
