Elite Resource Australia is seeking experienced and motivated mechanical technicians and fitters for field service work around the Cairns Hinterland. Applicant will have experience servicing and maintaining compressors, water pumps, drill rigs (hydraulic and pneumatic), telehandlers, forklifts, EWPs, generators, trailer mounted diesel concrete pumps and more… We offer the best conditions, competitive pay rates, and opportunities to work on shutdowns and projects.

Job Description

• Service and maintain equipment based on site in the Cairns Hinterland
• Breakdown support and PM servicing as required
• Managing own days, be an autonomous self starter that can travel between sites and maintain different types of equipment, keeping days varied and fresh
• Minimum 50 hour weeks (Monday-Friday) with overtime opportunities available
• Abiding by all site regulations and requirements

Job Requirements

• Licenced mechanical fitter/technician
• Experience required in mechanical servicing and repairs
• Experienced working on drill rigs is highly desired
• Ability to work in with multiple trades
• Self manage / work autonomously / make the job what you want / problem solver
• Open car licence
• Own tools
