We are an industry leader in Design, Data Management Solutions and Design Validation and as the industry moves toward subscription-based models, our business continues to grow and the need for a Subscriptions Manager to take charge of growing our recurring revenue, optimising renewals, and lead a high-performing sales team has become a priority for us as we expand in 2025.

The Role
As the Subscriptions Manager and Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for overseeing a team focused on driving new subscription sales, renewals, and upsells. You will be the coach and mentor, guiding the team to consistently exceed monthly and quarterly targets while maintaining a customer-first approach.
Your role will be critical in ensuring we expand our subscription base and enhance the lifetime value of customers. You'll develop strategies to increase retention, reduce churn, and implement upsell initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Drive renewal efforts, ensuring that customers renew subscriptions on time and are aware of additional product features that can add value.
- Implement customer success strategies to enhance retention and boost satisfaction.
- Analyse data to identify at-risk customers and proactively engage with them to retain their business.
- Monitor daily and weekly performance metrics to ensure the team is on track to meet objectives.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Train, motivate, and manage a team of subscription sales representatives to achieve performance goals.
- Work with the product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure alignment across departments.
- Ensure the subscription process is customer-friendly, efficient, and aligned with company goals.
- Track KPIs such as new subscription sales, renewals, upsell success, and customer retention rates.
- Provide actionable insights to improve sales performance and drive more revenue.
- Present monthly/quarterly reports on subscription sales progress and forecasts to the Operations Manager.
About You
- 5+ years of experience in subscription-based sales (SaaS, insurance, media, or similar industries) and 3+ years managing teams.
- Strong track record of growing recurring revenue, maximizing renewals, and driving customer retention.

- Strategic thinker – able to develop and execute data-driven strategies that drive sales and improve operational efficiencies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to engage with customers, sales reps, and senior leadership.
- Strong understanding of the subscription lifecycle – from acquisition to retention and expansion.
Salary and Benefits
- $100,000 - $120,000 Base Salary
- Additional Superannuation
