Tbone Coombs has an exciting full-time opportunity available for an experienced Sous Chef who's ready to take next challenge.

Tbone Coombs operates Tuesday to Sunday and is a modern and stylish designed pub that includes a range of exceptional quality pub food, beverages, and entertainment activities. There is a genuine career advancement opportunity available for a existing sous chef / Chef with a "lead by example" management style, who has solid experience, is highly motivated, is customer-focused, and target driven. Skills and experience

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Reporting directly to Head Chef and combine to lead the venue
• Assisting the creative control and influence on the menu, writing recipes, creating whole dishes, recipe cards and the like
• Quality control - food quality & service - delivering the “wow” moments our Eastern Suburbs Locals deserve
• Stock control, adhering to budgets and maximising supplier relationships
• Function experience - ability to coordinate tasks and manage functions such as canapes for cocktail parties & set menus for the restaurant and events
• Day to day assisting operations in the kitchen and coordinating service
• Training and mentoring the team
• Maintaining a clean operation, ensuring compliance with Food Safety Standards and equipment maintenance
• A committed, trustworthy and responsible individual is who we are looking for.
• The candidate must be flexible and available weekends, and public holidays when rostering demands this.
