About the role
This role is in charge of overseeing Council facilities by conducting inspections, maintaining them, and executing capital and operational projects

Duties

• Conduct on-site inspections, ensuring all requirements are met
• Manage and oversee contractor and vendor relationships
• Work within the approved asset management plans
• Ensure a safe work environment by reporting any workplace risks
• Maintain open communication with supervisors
• Contribute to the improvement of Council operations by reporting problems and offering suggestions

Skills & experience

• Knowledge and experience in project development
• Experience in engaging with and managing stakeholders including staff, contractors and community members
• Demonstrate a high level of numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
