About the role
This role is in charge of overseeing Council facilities by conducting inspections, maintaining them, and executing capital and operational projects
Duties
- Conduct on-site inspections, ensuring all requirements are met
- Manage and oversee contractor and vendor relationships
- Work within the approved asset management plans
- Ensure a safe work environment by reporting any workplace risks
- Maintain open communication with supervisors
- Contribute to the improvement of Council operations by reporting problems and offering suggestions
Skills & experience
- Knowledge and experience in project development
- Experience in engaging with and managing stakeholders including staff, contractors and community members
- Demonstrate a high level of numeracy, written and verbal communication skills
