About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and adaptable Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and creative teams across digital, online, and traditional channels. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in retail marketing, with a proven ability to understand customer journeys, drive customer engagement and sales growth whilst delivering strong ROI. While experience in the furniture industry is highly regarded, it is not essential.

In this role, you will oversee a talented team creative, ecommerce and marketing team as well as working with our marketing partners. You will need to take ownership of strategy development, implementation, and performance measurement. Your expertise in SEO, SEM, social media and E-Com will be critical, as will your hands-on experience with platforms including Salesforce and Magento.

This role will report directly to the CEO while working closely with other department leaders and retail showrooms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Marketing Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, online traffic, and in-store sales across our 3 brands.
  • Lead campaigns across digital platforms, including social media, paid search, and email marketing ensuring that communication with retail stores is clear, concise and ahead of the promotion start date to allow adequate time for implementation
  • Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Provide clear communication to the product team on the marketing strategy to support purchasing decisions
  • Provide post campaign review to key stake holders, identifying success and future opportunities

2. Digital Marketing & E-Commerce

  • Manage and optimise digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, and paid media (Google Ads, social media, etc.).
  • Oversee the e-commerce platform (Magento) to enhance the user experience and increase online sales, including overseeing the e-commerce team
  • Manage photoshoots requirements for the marketing teams involvement
  • Use analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed, in consultation with the CEO

3. Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven team culture.
  • Provide regular feedback, training, and performance reviews to team members.

4. CRM & Customer Engagement

  • Manage Salesforce or similar solution, ensuring personalised engagement and retention initiatives.

5. Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with sales, product, and design teams to align marketing initiatives with business goals.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, including agencies and contractors.

6. Budget Management

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal ROI for campaigns and initiatives.
  • Provide regular reporting on budget performance and campaign effectiveness to key stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

  • Experience in the furniture industry is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Proven success in retail marketing, with 3+ years of experience in a similar role.

Digital Marketing Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, paid media (Google Ads, FB, IG, TikTok), and other social media platforms.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms, particularly Magento.
  • Experience with implementation of organic social/community engagement strategies

CRM & Data Proficiency:

  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce or a similar solution for customer engagement and campaign management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into actionable strategies.

Leadership:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire the marketing team
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.

Creative & Strategic Thinking:

  • Ability to develop innovative marketing campaigns while keeping a focus on ROI.
  • Strong understanding of retail consumer behaviour and trends.
