Join a mixed-use development firm working on two land subdivision projects. As part of a small, nimble team, you can get involved in various tasks and achieve project milestones.

Two directors, seasoned professionals in the development sector, will support you daily. The wider team is social and fun. This is an opportunity for someone who feels like a number in a large organisation and wants to grasp the development process better. This five-day office-based role is in the Melbourne CBD.

What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Assistant Development Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing two large-scale projects. One is a strategic master planning, and the other site has recently been acquired - providing you with a good mix of experience and diversity. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the end-to-end development process, from concept to completion.
• Conducting feasibility studies and due diligence on future projects.
• Assist in securing project financing, permits, and approvals.
• Coordinating project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Monitoring project progress, budgets, and quality control.
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks and challenges.
• Supporting PCG meetings and collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders.

The Foundation for Success:

• Proven experience in development feasibilities and acquisitions.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Land subdivision experience
• Strong ability to lead pre-construction tasks, managing multiple consultants and stakeholders.
• A track record of conducting tender and design reviews, including managing D&C contracts.
• Project experience in apartments, shopping centres, land subdivisions, and commercial offices.
• Proficiency in Estate Master.
