Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Loan Writer to join our team. As a Loan Writer, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and finalizing loan documents for our clients. Your primary objective will be to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines while facilitating efficient loan processing. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of financial concepts, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Document Preparation: Prepare loan documents accurately and efficiently based on client information and loan specifications.

Review and Analysis: Conduct thorough reviews of loan applications, financial documents, and credit reports to assess eligibility and identify potential risks.

Compliance Assurance: Ensure all loan documents adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.

Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to gather necessary information, clarify requirements, and address any inquiries or concerns throughout the loan process.

Collaboration: Collaborate with loan officers, underwriters, and other team members to resolve discrepancies, streamline processes, and optimize efficiency.

Quality Control: Perform quality checks on completed loan documents to verify accuracy, completeness, and adherence to established guidelines.

Documentation Management: Maintain organized records of loan documents, correspondence, and client information in accordance with data security and privacy protocols.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continuously improve loan processing procedures and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing, mortgage lending, or a related role. Experience with loan documentation software and systems preferred.

Knowledge: Strong understanding of lending principles, credit analysis, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Truth in Lending Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act).

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, assess risk factors, and make sound decisions within established guidelines.

Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and accuracy in preparing and reviewing loan documents to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Organizational Skills: Effective time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple loan files simultaneously.

Integrity: Commitment to upholding ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality, and handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
