Position Title: Technical Officer

Position Grade: Technical Officer - Grade1or 2 (Year1-8 & Year1-4) (depend on experience and qualifications)
Salary: $65,956.63 - $94,999.34 based salary per annum

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the NSW State Reference Laboratory for HIV/AIDS and Molecular Diagnostic Medicine Laboratories delivering industry leading testing and monitoring for blood borne viruses and sexually transmitted infections.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Technical Officer who possess a passion for person centred care. We welcome applications from people who have previous clinical laboratory experience

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia.
2. Have appropriate tertiary qualifications in a scientific or technical field to the practice of pathology.
3. Previous experience working in a clinical diagnostic pathology laboratory.
4. Able to communicate effectively and work as an effective team member
