About the role
Aim:
This is a full-time short-term contract role to fast track, enhance and automate the financial reporting at the Foundation. This will include the creation of a budget model and automation of monthly management reporting.
Financial – Budgeting and Management Accounts:
Budget
- Develop a budgeting and forecasting tool that provides
- Key historical information and trends
- Provides co-development of budgets and forecast by the business
- Summary and detailed reporting for Executive and Board
- The budget model should include budget input template and output reports (P&L and Balance Sheet).
- Budget input template format should consider accounting structure for easy upload to Dynamics 365 (D365).
Reporting
- Review current reporting format and structure (management and Board) and recommend improvements
- Create/improve model for reporting on ROI on fundraising events and activities
- Develop an allocation model for the attribution of labour costs to fundraising events and activities
Other Reporting
- Develop other reports as directed. e.g. – finalise automation of pledge register
- Cashflow model
- Further Dashboard development
Leadership
- Participate as an active and engaged member of the Finance Team
- Work with the Finance Team to build highly engaged cross functional teams.
- Demonstrating leadership, professionalism and customer focused work ethic including a commitment to SCHF vision, purpose, and competencies.
- Ensure regular communication of results and priorities through regular meetings, including WIPS, one-on-ones and team meetings.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- ACA, CPA or equivalent
- 10 years in related Finance roles
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 an advantage (or similar systems and tools)
- Outstanding Excel and cube-based reporting skills (e.g. – Power BI, TM1 etc)
- Excellent communication skills
- Precise, accurate, fast learner

Our Proposal to You:
We are pleased to offer a full-time equivalent salary of up to $150,000 plus super for this position. We believe in recognising and rewarding the valuable contributions of our team members.
