Our client is one of Australia’s leading food services organizations, with significant operations locally and a global reach. They have a reputation for product and service excellent, partner with the biggest food retailers across the country and are focussed on innovation, optimization and delivering value to their communities, customers, and consumers. A recent resignation has created a vacancy for a commercially savvy Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join their Finance team.
This role reports to the CFO, has significant exposure to the leadership team and works across all operational divsions of the organization. Success requires a motivated, commercially savvy Financial Planning & Analysis Manager who is a TRUE business partner and effective leader who can ensure your team provides consistent, value add, operationally – focussed decision support across this dymamic business.
Key Responsibilities will include -
- Leading a team of Analysts to provide value-add support to all budgeting, forecasting, project and planning initiatives;
- Effective business partnering with ALL stakeholder groups including Corporate, Sales & Marketing, Logistics & Supply Chain, Procurement & Manufacturing teams;
- Ensuring effective product costing, analysis and profitability reporting by customer and product;
- Supporting the CFO and Operations Managers with “what if” analysis and modelling for transformation, cap.ex / expansion and new business opportunities;
- Identifying and supporting both revenue enhancement and supply chain cost-saving initiatives;
- Monitoring Balanced Score Card performance metrics and proactively recommending changes to Operations Managers, and
- Using data insights to allow Managers to make informed decisions, ultimately maximizing revenue and meeting strategic milestones.
What We’re Looking For:
A FP&A Manager with tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience in supporting complex, multi-site operations is required. You may be a Manager with proven leadership capability or a Team Leader keen to step up and lead a team, but you MUST be an effective communicator who can build credibility and rapport easily. A true passion for operations ( ideally in Food Services / Agriculture / Manufacturing ), strong commercial acumen and a proactive, positive attitude is essential. Advanced systems skills (BI, MS Office Suite), SAP and Tableau are advantageous but not essential.
