WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
You will be dealing with travel agencies all around the world with focus on Europe, in particular Germany and the US market, creating exciting travel itineraries for their clients.
Reporting to the Department Manager you will:
- Be responsible for communicating with our agency clients around the world for the FIT and Group travel market.
- Create bespoke travel itineraries based on client’s needs using top Australian destination hotels, tours and activities using our reservations system Tourplan.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm services for clients.
- Manage bookings from quoting stage all the way through to travel including invoicing, creating itineraries and supporting clients while in country.
- Continually expand your knowledge of Australian locations and product.
- Participate in workshops, site inspections, product updates and famils.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experienced inbound travel consultant, commencing asap.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Australia as a destination
- Previous experience with our reservations system 'Tourplan' is highly regarded but not necessary, in house training can be provided
- Mature minded person who is able to work independently as well as in a fast paced team environment
- Reliable and passionate for the travel industry
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and good time management is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with German as second language preferred
- A passion for designing unique tailor made holiday experiences for our clients
- Excellent customer service
- Team oriented and eager to take on responsibility to go the extra mile
