Who you are
You are a motivated, forward-thinking professional with:
- A degree in library studies or a related field (eligible for Australian Library and Information Association associate membership).
- Extensive experience in an academic library, coupled with a deep understanding of current and emerging trends in academic services, digital literacy, and scholarly communication.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor teams, deliver impactful training, and foster meaningful relationships across a diverse community.
- Strong project management and decision-making capabilities, with a knack for balancing multiple priorities to achieve outstanding results.
What you'll do
As a Campus Liaison Librarian, you will:
- Lead the campus Library Experience team to ensure seamless, high-quality client support services both online and on-campus.
- Supervise and mentor Library Advisors, fostering professional growth and ensuring the smooth functioning of library services.
- Collaborate with academic and research staff to align library services with teaching, research, and learning objectives.
- Develop and execute library initiatives, including communication, space planning, events, and resource curation.
- Drive strategic projects in areas like service quality, student engagement, and evidence-based library practices.
- Partner with the Research and Education Liaison team to create and deliver engaging programs and resources that enhance information literacy and digital skills.
- Represent the library in broader university and professional communities, showcasing leadership and advocacy for continuous improvement.

Term: Full-time continuing appointment (36 hours per week)
Salary: Total Remuneration range of $104,689 to $113,382 pa (includes salary range of $88,457 to $95,802 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17%, and annual leave loading)
