In line with the company’s expansion, they have engaged us to appoint a experienced Operations Manager. The team is youthful, vibrant and professional, and they have established a fun and well-balanced company culture - we are looking for someone who is going to compliment and add value to the existing team.
The Role:
As an Operations Manager you will take on a senior non-executive role overseeing daily operations in the exciting short-term rental sector. This is a pivotal position that requires a strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, recruit, train, and mentor a team dedicated to the short-term rental sector.
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure the Melbourne portfolio meets company and industry performance standards.
- Ensure efficient communication between all stakeholders to maximize guest satisfaction.
- Manage staff performance and operations on a daily basis, ensuring smooth operations.
- Oversee successful guest check-ins and resolve any maintenance issues quickly, ensuring satisfaction for both guests and the company.
- Collaborate with external contractors as needed to maintain property standards.
- Manage staff rosters, performance reviews, and coordinate with the General Manager.
- Ensure compliance with WHS and Real Estate regulations in both guest accommodations and office spaces.
- Foster a “customer-obsessed” culture through leadership, team meetings, mentorship, and regular room checks to maintain high housekeeping standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed real estate agent or willing to obtain
- Full driver’s license.
- 3+ Years experience in operations management
