Silkari Hospitality Management has an exciting opportunity for a Reservations Agent to join our friendly team working for an expanding hospitality group.

Our reservations team is important to our growth and success. Based in our Chatswood office, you will work closely with our resort and hotel teams daily, ensuring they have all the information they need for our guests to enjoy a memorable stay.

If have previous hotel experience and would like to expand your skill set this is the job for you!

Your role as a Reservations Agent will be to respond to inbound calls and emails. You will be responsible for booking guest stays at one of our 5 hotels or resorts.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Book reservations and confirm details;
• Handle incoming calls from a variety of guests, from corporate to leisure;
• Respond to emails regarding reservations and general information about our hotels or resorts;
• Build a good rapport with corporate clients;
• Assist Sales with leads and upselling;
• Maintain a high quality of work in a busy environment.

Skills and Experience:

To succeed in this role, you will need to be dynamic, passionate, and customer-focused. As an integral part of delivering exceptional customer service, you will possess:

• 1-2 years of work experience in a hotel environment;
• Outstanding written & verbal communication skills;
• The ability to multi-task and work well under pressure;
• High attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work in a team environment, as well as independently,
• Strong customer focus, a friendly and polite personality;
• Experience using a Property Management System is a plus but not a prerequisite.
• A strong work ethic, energetic, a quick learner, and excellent personal presentation,
