An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled commercial or technology lawyer to join our client’s in-house legal team, supporting high-value clients and strategic deals across their client-facing business units. They offer a flexible work environment and welcome candidates based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Perth.

What will your typical day look like?

As a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, no two days will be the same! You will work autonomously across a diverse portfolio of high-value deals, including strategy consulting, system implementation and integration, managed services, and cybersecurity engagements.

Your responsibilities will include developing and managing key stakeholder relationships, leading contract reviews and negotiations for significant clients, and providing strategic legal advice across the business.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.

You are a curious and enthusiastic lawyer with 3-4 years’ PQE in commercial, corporate, or technology law. A self-starter who thrives in autonomous roles, you’re keen to support a business with bold growth plans. Experience managing junior lawyers is a plus.

We are looking for someone with:

• Demonstrated experience reviewing and drafting a range of legal documents and correspondence, including MSAs, Consulting Services Agreements, Statements of Work, Subcontracts, and tender responses.
• The ability to manage the end-to-end contracting process, from initial business advice to review, drafting, and negotiation.
• A solid foundation in commercial and technology law concepts, with the ability to apply them in a professional services context.
• Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to craft innovative solutions to complex challenges.
• A proven ability to thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to handle a high volume of diverse matters across multiple business units.
• A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working in a team that evolves and innovates its service delivery.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
