KDB (Korea Development Bank) has been founded in 1954 with the mandate to build up, strengthen and develop the national economy, industries and financial system as the primary state financial service provider.
As a part of KDB's global network, KDB Sydney Representative Office (KDB Sydney) has been actively operating for 9 years since its establishment in 2015. Its primary objective is to serve as the Australian hub for the KDB network. KDB also continues to establish a greater presence in the Australian Market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reception duties - directing telephone callers to appropriate staff, issuing and receiving standard forms, meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority;
- Administrative/clerical duties
- maintenance of basic records, filing and photocopying, recording and matching of accounts and invoices etc;
- management of storage room, telecommunication equipments and pantry area, etc. - Operating computer/telephone equipment - performing word processing, transcribing, copy typing and audio typing, maintaining records and/or journals (e.g. invoices, accounts, payroll data and letters), preparing cash payment summaries, maintaining wage and salary records, arranging travel bookings and itineraries, making appointments and reservations, organising meetings on behalf of Chief Representative Officer, maintaining contacts and diary for Chief Representative Officer etc.
- Word processing - use of word processing/keyboard functions (i.e. Korean/English language input) to create, format, edit, correct, print and save text documents (e.g. standard correspondence and business documents), dealing with incoming email, letters, faxes and post and corresponding on behalf of Chief Representative Officer;
- Gathering miscellaneous information for Chief Representative Officer;
- Regular monitoring of relevant legislation and regulatory prudential standards, rules and guidelines to comply with the regulations; and
- Other tasks that may be considered necessary by Chief Representative Officer
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Korean and English
- Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
- Experience in Banking or Finance preferred but not required
