About the role

We are seeking an experienced Factory Bench Joiner to join our team at our Kingsgrove, NSW facility. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for producing high-quality custom cabinetry and furniture components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What you'll be doing

• Operate machinery and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble components for cabinetry, furniture, and other custom woodwork projects
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication
• Prepare surfaces for finishing by sanding and smoothing
• Assemble and fit pre-cut wood components to create structures, furniture, and fittings ready for installation.
• Self-discipline maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot issues and improve processes
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards
• Assist with site installation if required
• Liaising with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure seamless project delivery

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of experience as a Factory Bench Joiner or similar role in the carpentry/cabinetmaking industry
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, CNC, machinery, and safety protocols
• Have your own set of essential carpentry tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Have a good record of driving skills, a valid driving license, and provide your transport to work
• Have a White safety card and own PPE
