About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner / Camper Van Builder to join our talented team at Byron Bay Van Fitouts. As a fulltime Cabinet Maker, you will play a crucial role in crafting high-quality custom cabinetry and fitouts for our range of bespoke camper vans. Based in our workshop in Byron Bay, NSW, this is an exciting opportunity to showcase your exceptional carpentry skills and contribute to the success of our growing business.

What you'll be doing

• Fabricating and installing custom cabinetry, furniture, and interior fittings for our camper van conversions
• Interpreting technical drawings and design plans to create functional and aesthetically pleasing camper van interiors
• Operating a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools to precise specifications
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards
• Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on design options and customisations
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker, Joiner or Camper Van Builder, with a strong background in woodworking and furniture making
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and design plans
• Skilled in the use of a wide range of woodworking tools and machinery
• Excellent problem-solving and creative thinking skills
• A collaborative team player with strong communication skills
• A commitment to workplace health and safety
