Prime Kitchens and Bathrooms Pty Ltd is an Australian company specializing in high-quality kitchen and bathroom renovations. With over 20 years of experience, we design, manufacture, and install premium kitchens, bathrooms, and custom cabinetry solutions, delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a full-time joiner to join our team, responsible for:

· Examine drawings, blueprints, construction plans and work orders to understand client specifications and requirements.

· Take required measurements, using pencils and measuring tape, and cross reference them with construction plans and blueprints to determine material requirements

· Cut and shape wood to form structures and fittings ready for installation using saws and chisels as per specifications and drawings

· Assemble and join wooden parts to build doors, frames, shelves and other wooden and structural components using nails, screws, staples and adhesives, as appropriate.

· Ensure proper alignment, angles and positioning of wooden structures using spirit levels and against the blueprints.

· Install doors, cupboards, skirting boards as required.

· Install fixtures such as door handles and locks, hinges, bolts and railings.

· Repair, remove and/or replace wooden parts and structures that are damaged.

· Estimate the amounts, types, or costs of needed materials.

The job will be full time, with hours to be worked between 9.00 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.

Successful applicants must have:

· relevant qualifications including certificate III or IV in joinery

· relevant 3 years joinery experience in lieu of formal qualifications

· experience in using grinders, chisels, planes, saws, sanders, screwdrivers, drills and wood files

· strong communication and interpersonal skills

· strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
