With growing demand, we need experienced Production Supervisors to lead our team and ensure every batch meets our high standards of quality, consistency, and care.

The Role

As our Production Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for:

• Team Supervision: Leading and supporting the production team to achieve daily and weekly targets for both volume and quality through KPI implementation.
• Production Planning: Assisting the Production Manager with weekly production schedules and labor planning.
• Quality Control: Ensuring all products meet Loco Love’s exacting quality and food safety standards (HACCP)
• Workplace Health & Safety: Maintaining a safe work environment by enforcing hygiene, food safety, and WHS standards.
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to streamline production and improve efficiency while maintaining product integrity.
• Data & Inventory Management: Accurately inputting production data in DEAR Inventory Management System to track raw materials and finished goods.
• Training & Development: Fostering a learning culture where team members can continuously grow and improve.
• Communication: Acting as a key liaison between production, dispatch, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Cleaning & Preparation: Overseeing the team to complete cleaning checklists at the start, during, and at the end of shifts.
• Goods Receiving: Ensuring incoming raw materials and packaging meet quality standards before storage.

What We’re Looking For

✨ Experience: 1 + years in a supervisory role in food manufacturing, preferably within chocolate/confectionery production.
✨ Leadership: Strong ability to motivate and mentor a team while fostering a collaborative, high-energy environment.
✨ Technical Skills: Familiarity with chocolate tempering, production machinery, HACCP compliance, and food safety protocols.
✨ Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions efficiently.
✨ Attention to Detail: A keen eye for quality and consistency, ensuring every batch is exceptional.
✨ Passion for Food & Sustainability: A deep appreciation for organic, whole-food ingredients and ethical production.
✨ Flexibility: Availability for either the morning (6 AM – 2 PM) or afternoon (2 PM – 10 PM) shift, with some flexibility required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Food Manufacturing Experience (chocolate/confectionery preferred)
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (advantageous)
• Production Team Leadership & Coaching
• HACCP Compliance, SAFE WORK & Quality Management
• Strong Organisational & Time-Management Skills
• Experience in Inventory Management
