About the role

We are seeking an experienced Barista to join our vibrant team at Mr Belson's in Yungaburra, QLD. As a full-time Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional coffee and customer service in our thriving cafe. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our hospitality business.

What you'll be doing

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks to customers, ensuring consistently high quality
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and other coffee equipment
• Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Assist with food preparation and service as needed
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the work area
• Contribute to the development of coffee and beverage offerings
• Comply with all health, safety and food hygiene regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1+ years' experience as a Barista in a fast-paced cafe or restaurant environment
• Excellent coffee-making skills and knowledge of coffee types, brewing methods and equipment
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well in a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Passion for the hospitality industry and a genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
