The Role

Due to their continued growth, our client is seeking a Public Liability & Medical Negligence Senior Associate or Special Counsel. This role is an opportunity to work with a strong blue-chip client base on challenging and complex commercial insurance matters. The team represents Australia and international insurers, government agencies, brokers and intermediaries.

You would be assisting the 2 Partners to help lead a team of 6 lawyers/associates. Very collaborative group who have established a good culture that works well together.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this Public Liability & Medical Negligence will be either at Senior Associate or Special Counsel level and will have:

• 5+years' experience gained in a well-regarded insurance practice
• Experience in general liability and/or professional indemnity essential
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated negotiation skills
• Willingness to mentor junior team members.
