Your opportunity
As an Electrical Fitter Mechanic, based at Cairns, you’ll build on your highly practiced electrical skills completing isolated and remote generation maintenance and
construction.
Here’s how you’ll do it:
- Carry out maintenance and repairs to isolated and remote power generation plant and equipment throughout Queensland and Torres Straits
regions.
The remuneration for your new role is from $108,859 per annum + 14.75% superannuation + allowances.

What you’ll bring
- A Queensland Electrical Licensing Board Certification as an Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
- Demonstrated knowledge of an electricity distribution/transmission system, including construction and maintenance of the
electrical network. - Well-developed interpersonal communication skills to develop good working relationships with team members and customers.
- Availability for call out and emergency work.
- Willingness to travel to surrounding areas to undertake work.
- Current ‘C’ class open Drives Licence.
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship or an Australian permanent residency.

- Doggers and Forklift Licence
